Colors

Color comes from the material. Materik does not decorate with color: every accent is sampled from a real surface, acetate, mineral, water, and carries its natural name. Everything else is a neutral stage that lets the material speak.

Paper is the default background. Ink is the default text. Sand and Warm Grey build depth between them.

Rules

One accent per layout. Never two material colors competing.
The accent never touches the logo: the mark lives in Ink or Paper only.
On photography, color comes from the image itself. No colored overlays.
Full bleed accent backgrounds only for campaign moments, never as a default.
Product finish colors live with each product, they are not brand colors.
Do not introduce new colors in partner materials without checking with the brand team.

The accent family is sampled from the materials themselves and is being finalised. Until it is published here, build partner layouts on the four neutrals above and let the product photography carry the color.
